If you look at this link, it will come up with a map that shows the "old" East loop. If you toggle it between satellite and map, you will see the present, truncated East loop on the left hand side.

The present railroad is the original PM Rwy ROW with minimum radius loops at each end. The original 1976 Huck ROW had the larger loop that also featured a campground at the farthest end, and the "train robbery" at the switch. It was built on east Michigan blowsand, and the subroadbed was always moving. It also had a short section of 4% on it. About 1985 or so it was retired in place and the newer loop put in.
