"Was Joe Dalla the fireman on the trip down and got a ``field promotion''? Was the Santa Fe hostler grabbed for a trip north as fireamn? Ok, that was three questions."

No information for Dalla was recorded, so sorry to say I cannot provide an answer at this time. The names for fireman and brakemen typically were not shown and, again, cannot say if he was the fireman on the trip down.
