Managed to put a squeeze on the boiler today - all the way to 250 lbs.
More assembly work in process....
frame plates back on the fireman's side, along with cab floor and front wall....signed by the artist.
inside of cab on fireman's side. Firing valve and damper control back in and hooked up....
firedoor back on temporarily. We had a propane torch in the firebox to heat up the water in the boiler to 70-80 degrees. It will come off when we install the brickwork.
Steam pressure gauge installed. steam gauge lamp on the left, lamp for the air gauges on the right. The throttle operating rod is below the gauge. the throttle lever will connect to it eventually.
