a few pictures for fans of Old Georgtown Loop #40

Somebody noticed in an other picture I posted from the D&S roundhouse at night that the Loop 40 was tucked in there. So I thought I'd scan a few pictures to complete the story. 40 got to D&S sometime in 92 for heavy running gear work including new tires, as I remember it as they pressed the counter weights off and took the tires off with the "ring of fire" the wheel centers almost fell apart as there were so many cracked spokes. Since they were cast irón no chance to reweld them so they had to have new steel centers cast somewhere in Denver. The rebuild extended almost one year.
