I remember doing the same thing to the former Pickering Lbr. Corp. 3T Heisler 5 at Castro Point in the summer of 1970. 4-5 of us worked most of the night underneath the engine. The pins all had a light coat of rust on them from years of storage atop the tender. We had no machine shop then and had to sand them by hand to fit as they were not marked as to where they went.
