year round schooling

Hi,
I saw a small article in the neighborhood paper concerning going to year round schooling and having from 2-3 weeks between quarters.
Since most tourist operations are geared around summer vacations, how would Georgetown, C&TS, EBT, SV etc be able to cope with possible changing vacation patterns?
On the C&TS, could off-season operations (targeted for the 2-3 weeks between school quarters) from Antonito to Osier be run? In other words, Does the typical heavier snows belong mainly on Cumbres and Los Pinos? I realize that logistically, a better servicing facility in Antonito would be needed (shops, and yard probably and the Osier loop would need to be functional).
