Re: Updates for Texas State Railroad?

The answer to that question is they don't really know for sure. It all depends on when they get the grant monies from the State of Texas to get the engines rebuilt. The only operable steam locomotive in the forseeable future is 201,and she is currently down for her annual inspection. The order for repairs was 300,400, 500, then 201 when it's her turn.Dieseld 7 and 8 are also operable, as well as a 44 tonner they use as a shop switcher. The 610 will never operate on the TSRR due to the curvature. Her weight is not an issue.
