Folks,

At the end of operation of the SP's Owens Valley narrow Gauge the General Electric Diesel locomotive was sold to a used equipment broker in Texas and then to a copper mining operation in Cabannea, Sonora, Mexico.

I would like to know how long it worked down there, if it still exists and even a picture if there are any. What model is a 450 Hp unit?

i read a report that it was on the Cumbres & Toltec in the last few years. But I think that was an error thinking it was one of the Hawaiian 44 tonners that there two of in Colorado.
