Built by Davenport in 1927 (as 0-4-0T) for N&S Coal Co. of Pittsburg, Kansas, and later serving Mackie-Clemens Fuels. It was reportedly the worst of the acquired by Marriott Corp. for their Great America parks, but the first -- and only -- rebuild as steam by Arthur LaSalle/American-Keystone of Hermine, PA, with the rest being becoming dismals thrown together by Custom Fabricators of Johnson City, TN. The locomotive sat in Gurnee, IL, for several years before eventually finding its way into the hands of Bill Norred, who had it rebuilt by Shop Services of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. It was subsequently stored in a citrus packing warehouse in Ventura County, CA, with two other locomotives, now Pacific Coast Railroad Nos. 2 and 3.
