Well, Willis Kyle did a rather dramatic "retirement". He died. My understanding is that the remaining corporation got rid of the non-performing properties, one of which was the C&TS RR. (Nobody has ever made a profit from the C&TS RR, even underhandedly.)
I met Mr. Kyle once, at his office in Oregon. He was not gracious with me and my friend, David Ogle.
