Got a new scanner recently, thought I would share a photo. C&TS 487 on a photo runby in August 1999.
This turned into an interesting run. Train was full, 11 or 12 of the old cars. Jeff had his hands full getting the train up the hill. On the way down we got into thunderstorms west of Cumbres. It certainly seemed like a fast run down the hill, with pouring rain, lightning and thunder.
