Hi,
I just talked to the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce today. They want to create a Dunwoody Railroad Museum in the old Roswell Railroad section house. They will first have the section house as a combination RR museum, Chamber of Commerce office, and information center. They are talking about possibly back-dating the building to the original Size.
The Roswell RR section house was built in about 1881. So I think that the buildings at Sublette would be similar. Are there plans and photographs anyone has that show the current Sublette area (several buildings), any photos of the buildings being restored, and any plans made by the Friends showing building size and construction technique?
The Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce may also want to display the photos and/or plans in the future. If so, I'll get back to you to get permission.
Back channel will be fine unless some else wants the same information.
Thanks for all your help.
