Thanks for the information about John Norwood, John. Norwood sure lead an amazing life. To him he was just living out his life, but what an interesting time that he lived in. He may have thought he was born too late, but to the rest of us foamers, he LIVED the golden era of the narrow gauge.

I tried to get in contact with him two years ago, but he was already fading away according to his granddaughter. We are all the richer for him having shared his lifelong experiences with us in his books though. Godspeed John Norwood, and thanks!
