Thanks for the information guys. It sounds like maybe a crown product or the product of the other guy someone mentioned.
None of D&RGW's original 4-4-0s exist, ey? Sort of too bad, they do look terrific even though they're not all that practical for that type of mountain railroading. Interestingly enough, I've seen photos of D&RGW americans working for other railroads, but have never seen one taken in Colorado. What were they just extremely unpopular with the mountain railroads?
