BTW, Monday marked the 67th anniverary of the last revenue run on the Chili Line. Conductor Henry Willis (brakeman 8-11-1890, conductor 10-20-1897), engineer Charles Arnell (fireman (10-4-1900, engineer 11-27-1904), fireman Roy Brown (fireman 10-4-1915, engineer 10-23-1919) and trainman J.C. Legg (brakeman 9-4-1925, conductor ???)) took six cars north that day. Two of the cars were for R&RGW general manager E.A. West and two assistant managers, two others were coaches along with one baggage car and one box car.Two box cars were added at Espanola.
Note this date was before Pearl Harbor by several months. Set. 1 was also a Monday 1941.
