No, it was NOT a tender from a 1700 class. The tender came off of #1600 (a 3-cylinder 4-8-2 for you people that don't have the books.)Johnny Maxwell did a plan (No. D-50)for the tank (now available from his son Bruce). The tank had been cut down to 22' long. The #1600 use to plainly show on the end.
