I have a plan of the Durango House by,

This was a rather large Ice House. Mike also mentions in his Chama Workbook there being one there prior to 1923, but no photo's have surfaced. was reputed to be a small house for local needs. i would think that there was one at Alamosa to0. You might also try looking in the maxwell collection on the web @ www.colong.com
Now for a new related question. Does anyone know where the ice would have been supplied from?
