Hello,
Looking at Earl's pictures, the roof area is wider than the refers. Thereore, there may be space under the roof between the two cars. If this is true, the paint on car sides under the roof would be visible. If one can get permisson to go inside the structure to look at the protected sides of the cars, the car numbers may be found.
