Hi Dave,

Actually, I just finished the job last night, and I think there were only 6,727 shingles. And mine came from Washington, not Oregon. Kappler Mill and Lumber. ;-)

I will definately get a copy of the book you mentioned. Sounds like a good addition to my library.
