"Bout as long as the loose talk about green boiler jackets. If I hear that one more time I'm going to throw up. But in all honesty, the green jacket is pretty, but with the exception of the two K-36s painted by the Salida shop crew for a Rocky Mountain RR Club excursion, none - I repeat - NONE of the D&RGW NG engines ever wore green to the best of my knowledge. But that urban myth keeps surfacing. Standard gauge engines is a whole 'nuther story.
