Watermelon - OB style

One of the consequences of my move from digital back to film is that I don't get to post many "reportage" shots of recent events anymore. On the recent OB trip, however, I dragged along close friend and fellow photographer Musser Moore. While he's also mostly a film shooter these days (I'm a bad influence) :-) , he did drag his dSLR out for a few shots of the great watermelon smash.

So, courtesy of Dr. Moore, here're two from the event. He didn't get the actual moment - I think I did, but it'll be a while before mine are prepped - but I think you get the general flavor. As these are probably on the edge for dialup folks, I'm posting links rather than embedding.
