For those of you with the interest to help, I recommend a visit during the Columbus Day weekend, Oct. 10-13. We will be laying rail that weekend, and we can always use a few more willing backs and hands. We hope to build 1200 feet, more or less, of new track over the weekend. Work each day usually extends from 7 a.m. to 5 or 6 p.m. The museum provides lunch and dinner each day, and if you go away hungry, it's your own fault. Everyone is welcome, no matter what your skills and abilities -- we can find something for you to do. There's no pressure to work, so if you feel the need to go off and take photos or ride the train or follow a bit of the WW&F's grade, go for it. Just come, have fun and meet some of the best folks you'll ever want to know.
