Re: Mudhen Marsh?

After careful consideration of the pond's dimensions, which are a bit small for geese - and the engines which passed by in the "good old days" (which did not include the RGS geese) - I hereby suggest a more appropriate name: "Mudhen Pond".

Thankfully, 'Mudhen' is not one of the menu choices for the C&TS Midnight 'Moonlight Special' dinner trains this coming Saturday and again on September 13th ... (see [ngdiscussion.net]).

And so, for the September 2010 edition of the 'Midnight Special' (C&TS 40th anniversary), can we look forward to a flash-enhanced once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to capture a #463 runby under the full moon, reflected in 'Mudhen Pond'? Hopefully JBWX will have tamed his digital beast by then, and will capture another of his timeless classic photos, and settle the matter once and for all!
