Number 6 is late.
The Pennsy's no. 21, the "Keystone Express," was late into Mount Union with the mail, so Rockhill station is a bit congested. A northbound extra waits at the switch with loads, the crew eager to get on the road. The engineer on no. 12, the Shade Gap local, wants to get out of town as well.
The station agent has the LCL and the mail for Roberstdale ready to load into the combine, and everyone is listening for a distant whistle . . .
