The issue now is not so much the continued gutting of the railroad, as it is the give away that the museum is conducting. To sit there and complain about the costs involved and then let an asset go for almost nothing is criminal.
The simple fact is that with the current administration there will be NO MORE railroad operations. And there is no intent for there to be any additional operations down the road. The current Executive Director and his alleged railroad specialist are doing everything they can to make sure that the train operation is dead forever. At least if they are going to do that you would think they would want to get what the market would bear price wise for the equipment now being disposed of. This thing does not even smell right.
