The property was the location of the Oriental Refinery. This is where the oil from the Gramps Oil Field northwest of Chama was refined. It was purchased by Carl Helfin, he moved all the buildings and railroad equipment in there. The RR stuff now belongs to either Don Shank (of Creede Branch fame) or the SLRG

I do not know for certain, but the I was told the building in question was the depot at Jaroso on the San Luis Valley Southern.
