Steve. I think you mis typed. It is linking to a treatse on bridge building on the RGS by Bill White. He is referencing Trout Lake trestle mostly but most all the bridges were built simular.
My take on the wreck site is MP 10.3 or so. It was very close above the tank (at MP 9.9). I hiked to it twice or three times (hard to remember 20 years ago) and it still stands out when you come to it. I beleive MP 10 was standing when I went by it back then. It was a big one so left it behind. Used the creek that feed the tank to cool some pop for the return from bridge 9A. It was mighty nice to get back to. In the 80's you could drive to 9A on the low side and then hike up hill as far as you wanted. My friend found a double headed spike as he was kicking dirt. I found one the next time I was on it. I miss those days.
