The heart and the soul of the EBT is the shops. They must be stabilized. We have already lost the company store in Robertsdale. If at all possible a sprinkler system should be installed to supress fires. One only has to look at Cass, West Virginia where the logging mill was destroyed by two fires, the railroad's shops were destroyed by an earlier fire and the C&O depot was destroyed by fire. Just this year in nearby Marlington their C&O depot was destroyed by fire. Unfortunately, the EBT does not currently have the revenue to accomplish this or any of what you have proposed. Hence, the Friends must continue to work hard to raise money and do restoration work, both at Rockhill Furnance and at Robertsdale.
