Generally speaking, more of the main line will be exposed than the Lake
City branch. This is because the Gunnison river has a lesser grade than the Lake Fork. IE a drop of 100 ft would expose a couple of miles of main line but less than a mile of the Lake City Branch. Another way to put it:
at full pool the tub covers up about 20 miles of the main line east of Lake Jct but only about 8 miles of the lake City branch going south.

Oh, it's also worth mentioning that walking parts of the grade covered in recently submerged silt is really not fun. Stuff'll suck the boots right off your feet.
