I don't believe IH ever had a rail division or actually built rail equipment. However, several rail equipment manufacturers used IH industrial engines in their products. Brookeville critters especially come to mind, many of the older ones even had the IH-styled hood covers which greatly resembled those on the 40's - 50's Farmall tractors, originally designed by industrial designer Raymond Leowy (sp?). \
The 10-ton Plymouth switcher in use at the Sumpter Valley Rwy has an International diesel although I'm uncertain whether it's original. I believe a lot of the older Plasser rail maintanence equipment also used IH engines.
I have also seen pictures of IH railbuses & trucks, but these may have been conversions, rather than factory-built.
