Actually it is digital. It's an old 4mp minolta digital with an infrared filter on it. Most digitals filter out infrared so if you use an infrared filter you just get black. You can have a Canon digital SLR altered by canon to shoot nothing but infrared, some people pick up older models and have this done or you can find one of the older Minolta's or some of the old nikon point and shoots and use the filter.
