Thanks Jerry! I've been in touch with Dan Robirds, and I'll call him when I get in the area. I'm particularly interested in the new Panamanian diesels (although I suppose that I shouldn't say such blasphemy on this board!) 
By the way, the schedule listed on the SVRwy site is the 2007 schedule.
While I know that the Railroad is only open on weekends, the schedule lists the 14th & 15th as being open - which I guess it was in 2007! Oh well!
