We've covered the history of it here a while ago but I can't remember all of it. I do know that it started out on the D&RGW narrow gauge as a stock Fairmont 4-wheel inspection car. The derailment problems were cured when the front axle was replaced by a 4-wheel lead truck and the little box, which I assume was done in the railroad shops. The restoration was completed last year and it made a run to Lobato and back. Personally, I think it would be a neat idea to offer charter runs in it for small groups, but I don't know how capable it is of getting up Cumbres with a full load.
