This brings to mind that there are two definitions of Chain Gang, 1st is the prison work gang all hooked together with leg irons and chains, 2nd is the survey crew that handled the measuring chain. I don't have any experience with the 1st, but do have a little with the 2nd. Got a great case of poison oak before it was over.
