Glad to see it back to normal! It was all I could do to photograph it in the bumble bee scheme during the Durango NNG Convention in 2006.
The first time I saw the so called bumblebee paint scheme in person was on the 268 in Gunnison in July 1960. It was all alone, unfenced, on the west side of town. I photographed it then but not with much enthusiasm. The scheme originated, as did Rio Grande Gold, in the movie "Denver & Rio Grande", filmed in 1951 and released in 1952, IIRC correctly. I've always viewed it a a Hollywood creation only.
Just my personal viewpoint.
