Jerry, one of the problems facing the Friends is that we do not have any steam rated hose to connect a steam engine to the OB. We also cannot tie up a steam engine when we want to work the machine. The main problem as I see it from afar,(Calif.) is that the 185 CFM air compressor doesn't have enough air volume and air pressure to run the engine on OB.

A K36 runs at 195PSI and almost unlimited volume, vs a 120 PSI/185cfm air compressor like you would use to run jackhammers. John Engs got a second air compressor and was trying to double up the air lines to double the volume to the OB. I have not talked to him for a couple of days to see if that is what they did.
