As of this morning the Martin Fire in Bonny Doon is 25% contained, has burned 600 acres and caused 1500 people to be evacuated. There was fog this morning which has raised the dew point and which will help the fire fighters.The cause of the blaze was probably a small campfire.

The nearest the fire got to Roaring Camp was probably 4 miles but only about 1 1/2 miles from my home. Very scary!

Roaring Camp is open for business as is Santa Cruz County. Come by for a visit.
