Sister Engine

The sister engine #2 is on display at Furnace Creek Ranch in Death Valley. Furnace Creek Ranch is the location of the Park Headquarters, but the engine is on display over at the motel/cottage complex. This is just a few miles from where the Death Valley Railway operated which was never in the valley itself.
The Carlsbad operation had a third engine, an outside frame 2-8-0 that once operated at Morenci, Arizona. This deckless engine is now on display by the Southern California Chapter of the Railway & Locomotive Historical Society at the Los Angeles County Fairgounds at Pomona, Calfiornia.
