There has been some work done on the #315 this spring. Some of the old piping has been changed out and new tender springs and seats installed. A third screen was fabricated for the smoke box. The first one was to fine, The second to course and just like little red riding hood, this one should be just right. The FRA annual inspection including the hydro has been completed. One flue was weeping and two stay bolts on the back head were replaced. I guess it should be ready to go.
If Dennis, our chief Mechanical officer,is satisfied, it has to be close to perfect.
