Hi, Ed -
Good to see you are back, too.
I forgive you for calling me a '@#$%& biker' - actually I was a @#$%&
cyclist until the side effects of my most recent rounds of chemo in 2006 forced me to give up my bicycle (and I never did have a spandex outfit) - but it IS a little difficult to forgive you for being the last straw that nearly caused me to succumb to NGDFWS.

Thankfully, my health remains good enough that I'm still able to be a @#$%& foamer.

IIRC, you have good reason to dislike
irresponsible bicycle riders, but please remember that I am a strong advocate of the "Law of the Leftmost Cyclist" - which exonerates any motorist who unavoidably splatters the leftmost of any group of cyclists not riding single file, or over the right-side white line in areas of limited visibility, reflective spandex notwithstanding.
That being said, how are your plans for the Steamboat trip shaping up? I'm planning to be in Chama on or about June 15, to chase #315 to Antonito on the 16th, ride the Friends' #315 trip on the 21st, and ride the SLRG sometime between the 16th and the 23rd, depending on which day(s) they use #18 or #1744. Will you be in Alamosa anytime between June 16 and June 23? If so, let's get together for a song or two and a beer or three.
All the best!
