Hey 1972FordF-100. I commend you for your restraint in replying to someone who said "Fords Suck". I happen to own a 1984 GMC 454 1 ton dually that I wouldn't trade for a dozen fords. But thats just my opinion. Because My father worked his heart out for FOMOCO, and although he died in November 1953 the mighty FOMOCO couldn't seem to give my Mom an employee discount for a current model 1954. You and I, 1972fordF100 know there is a big difference between a 1953 flathead, and a 1954 OHV V8. 10 years later when I became owner of that '53 flathead I became a Ford hater, not because of quality issues. but because of how they screwed my Mother and me out of the biggest change in Ford history, an OHV V8. So naturaly My beef with FMC has nothing to do with the quality of their product, rather the quality of their management. I can't even remember what a 1972 f100 looks like, But if it is your favorite car/truck of all time, it makes me wonder why someone would say 'fords suck', when obviously a bunch of them were sold. I married a blonde. But I wouldn't dare say that all other hair colors of ladies suck, she would double, or triple my honey-do list overnight.
