The D&S hired Silverton contractor Pete Meisal who worked his equipment from our end starting about April 7. The D&S worked their way up from the Durango end and aside from several sizeable slides, I understand it went pretty much as usual. There has been significant snow melt in the past several weeks, though the Animas hasn't started to run very high yet. The first week of June is the time period to see what the river does. If anything of interest comes up, I'll post it.
