Trains in Silverton

The 480 headed the first section into Silverton today and fairly warm and nice weather greeted the trains. The 486 pulled in the second section, and both trains were pretty close to being on time. Refreshments were served at the depot and Silverton's Brass Band played for both trains upon their arrival. It's great to see these trains back, tourists on the street, and a lot of open signs in shop and restaurant windows. The D&S always puts on a great show, and that's backed up with the technical and professional expertise of the entire organization. I posted a couple of pictures at;
