With 487 having firebox issues that 484, 488 and the 489 would be carrying the load when the railroad opened. 487 seems to enjoy playing limbo lately. Not this is a bad thing but once the other steamers are out my question is "How will boiler work on 487 continue with three locomotive coming in and out of Chama needing servicing for the next days run?" This was the position 489 has been in the last few years. Getting 487 out won't be easy, Just my opinion.
