Re: ATSF 3751 6/1 excursion and Knotts Berry Farm

The RR has been running steam sporadically this winter due to the construction of their new ride "Pony Express". The RR and the new ride share right of way between the crossing at Ghost Town and the Western Ave. Gate crossing. When they have been erecting steel or pouring concrete they have either not opened the line, or in the case of fresh concrete near the ROW used the Goose instead of the C-19's and full train. Pony Express was supposed to be up and running by Memorial Day weekend, but I'd still call ahead and see what the operational status of the RR is before heading over there.

I was up there in mid March and the Chama was still in the shop at that time.
