Hi ya'll, recently I have been giving some serious though to making my own hon3 casting out of brass, and I have a few questions. First of all, what do you need to cast brass? I know the obvious (furnace, mold, and brass) but what all is involved? Second, what kind of furnace would be good for this application? Also, should I try casting with another metal before trying brass, like pot-metal or white metal? Thats it for now, any help would be appreciated.
