Hi,
I was looking at my Collected Colorado Rail Annual, the article on the WP&Y motive power.
WP&Y D&RGW
250 470
251 471
252 472
253 474
254 475
255 477
256 479
The article says all were used on the White Pass from 1942 to 1944.
I can not find my CRRM book with the D&RGW roster in it, so I have a couple of questions:
1) Which K-28 was broght back early? I thought one was in a fire or wrecked and returned to Seattle early.
2) which of these K-28's was the first to turn a wheel on the White Pass?
3) Which was the last to turn a wheel on the White Pass?
4) Which was the last to turn a wheel on the Rio Grande?
Thanks.
Doug
