At 3:25 in the second part there is a shot of what appears to be a Los Angeles Railway trolley. The only place I can think of where the Santa Fe crossed the Los Angeles Railway is on the harbor line where it passes a few miles south of downtown L.A. (So there is narrow gauge in this film - the L. A. Ry was 42" gauge).
