Hey Earl,
We missed you today 4/26/08. I took Jim down to the yard hoping to talk to you but the crews told us you were preparing for a trip to walsenberg at 2:00 so instead grandpa and I got to talking to Carlos who was working very hard when we interrupted (sorry to take him away from his work by the way). Pertty interesting things you have going on in alamosa and talking to carlos that close to #18 was amazing in itself seeing as the closest I have ever been to a standard gauge engine was today you literally look up to it. Anyway hopefully some other time we can try to talk later but I know your a busy man so good luck with the steam up of the engine and the other "Doin's" of the San Luis and Rio Grande Railway.
