...and yet another reminder of my childhood is gone forever.
Lots of memories in that old building. I sure hope the new one is similar to the old one, and still has that same friendly atmosphere. I feel sorry for the people that now have to go at least 45 miles one-way just to get the basic necessities and especially those friends and family that worked at the store.
There used to be a lot of historic photographs on the walls in there of the area, as well as some railroad art work. I hope someone got in there and managed to salvaged them.
